SERC Building

TMI laboratories and staff are housed in a brand new, state-of-the-art building on Temple University’s Main Campus, the Science Education and Research Center (SERC) building. TMI faculty, staff, and students occupy space in the basement and the fourth, fifth, and seventh floors of SERC. Overall, SERC provides 250,000 sq. ft. of space to education and interdisciplinary research, with extensive expertise in materials science, computational science, genomics, bioinformatics, computer science, and structural biology present on site. Both the SERC and TMI spaces are designed with largely open floor plans to foster interdisciplinary interactions and cooperation.
